"My father has been in Venn House long term ever since November 2017. In all that time he has been cared for with dignity, patience and really sensitive care. The staff know him, they are full of suggestions, and we are always informed of any change in his condition. The food is amazing and always offered with flexibility to his choices. When he is unwell and doesn't want to eat, Lydia will sit for ages and feed him mouthfuls of soup or yoghurt, just to keep his intake up. When he forgets who or where he is, he is treated with real warmth and respect. When he was moved recently to a safer room for him, everyone concerned handled it carefully and sensitively, and the move was seamless. I really haven't been able to fault his care, and would happily recommend Venn to anyone considering taking a look. I personally have never regretted choosing them as my father's carers.
